About Kluesner Construction: Over 30 Years of Local Paving Experience

Since 1995, Kluesner Construction has been part of the fabric of Eastern Iowa. Based in Farley, Iowa, we're a family-owned company that takes pride in the roads we pave, the lots we stripe, and the communities we serve. We pave the roads people drive every day, the parking lots businesses depend on, and the driveways families come home to. For over 30 years, our local crew has focused on providing straightforward, reliable pavement services across Eastern Iowa, handling everything from residential driveways and commercial parking lot overlays to aggregate material hauling.

The Kluesner connection to the road building industry runs deep. In the 1990s, Prairie Road Builders subcontracted hot mix work to Kluesner Construction—laying the foundation for a partnership that would eventually bring the two companies together. In 2007, Craig Kluesner became part owner of Prairie Road Builders, Inc.—a chip seal company with roots going back to 1970—and in 2013 became sole owner. Today, Kluesner Construction and Prairie Road Builders operate as sister companies, bringing decades of combined experience and practical asphalt solutions to the roads of northeast Iowa and the tri-state area.

As a local, family-run business, we believe in keeping things clear and direct. Our project managers and estimators work closely with property owners to provide sensible, down-to-earth solutions for keeping local surfaces functional and safe. We are proud to be an active part of our hometown, earning the Community Involvement Award from the Asphalt Paving Association of Iowa in recognition of our team's participation in the Farley Community Park project. At the end of the day, it's not just work—it's our community too.
